6 going on 12

Today I was cooking dinner and Caroline was playing with Alex. She had him sitting on the computer and was teaching him how do the Paint program. I said something to her and she said "In 6 years I am going to be 12 and I will need to know how to babysit. Don't make this more difficult for me than it already is." All through dinner she kept telling Carter how pretty soon she would be in charge of babysitting him and Alex and that he still had a long time before he turned 12, but she only had 6 years (Carter has 8).
