Carter continues to make me laugh almost every day. A few days ago Carter and Alex were drawing using stencils Carter got for Christmas last year.
Carter: Alex, when I was little I didn't even have stencils!
Alex: Really????? What did you use?
Carter: My skills....
Carter: And I didn't even have really good skills
A few minutes later...
Carter: Alex did you know you are my first stencil apprentice? I've never been a master before.

I am impressed at his vocabulary- I mean how many 1st graders know the word apprentice and can use it appropriately? He does have mad (verbal) skills!
