Trunk or Treat

It was a fabulous (and spooky) night for a trunk-or-treat party at the Hunter's Christmas Tree Farm.
Matt and the kids had take a special pumpkin carving class that morning--and the pumpkin fit perfectly with all the spiderwebs in the car.
I love the kids' costumes this year.  Aaron is wearing the same monkey costume that he wore last year--and it fit him perfectly.  Caroline is a spider witch--we found the fabric for the skirt and based the whole costume off of that--I love that it is a witch, with Caroline's unique style giving it personality!  Carter and Alex were Mario and Luigi....I embellished the hats myself and I love their mustaches....they looked great.
We started with dinner, roasted marshmallows and then a hay ride.
These two really are such good friends....they loved being Mario and Luigi

Aaron loved trick or treating.  I had been trying to teach him to say trick or treat all day--but he wouldn't even try.  Then we started trick or treating and he saw that it would get him candy....he started saying it on his own to everyone with any candy...oh the magic of Halloween!
