Family Football

The boys have discovered football.  It is a combination of the start of college football, the family rivalry between Georgia Tech and BYU, and the perfect fall weather.  Aaron will now sit on the couch with his little nerf football and point to the football and the TV and want us to turn on a football game.  If we turn it on he starts cheering and will sit there and watch it for a long time...we have to get them in the mode early!

With all the beautiful weather lately, we have been spending more time outside.  Caroline needed pictures for her reflections entry, and the boys started a football game.  Luckily the pictures went quickly and we joined in the game.

Unfortunately, my settings on the camera were wrong--set for Caroline's reflections picture, not for the pictures I started taking afterwards....so most of them were blurry.  I did get a few good ones.
This "tackle" ended with a couple of kisses on the cheek--that is what is so great about family football!
I know this one is blurry--but I still liked it
Alex was given a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct and had to sit on the sidelines for a while--Aaron joined him on his own.
I love this one too--Dad and Aaron versus the rest of the kids....seems like a fair match-up.

Looks like so much fun, Melinda! We've had some nice fall weather, too, and I'm hoping it lasts for a LONG time!

Loved the football pictures -- the one with Matt and the kids reminds me of when Dad used to play with you kids.
