I had taken a lot of great pictures of the kids--and Caroline had taken a bunch as well, when I realized that there was no memory card in the camera. Lisa's batteries had already given out on her camera--we tried swapping, but her memory card wouldn't fit in my camera and my battery isn't a standard one so we were both out our cameras. Luckily Shanna had her camera...well, until she lost it on the hayride. I found some batteries for Lisa's camera in my car, and the person on the hayride after us found Shanna's camera...so we ended up with a few pictures after all!
Carter blended into the pumpkins so well, it was sometimes hard for me to find him!
Aaron didn't really want to pause for a picture--he loved running up and down the rows of pumpkins.
all the cousins we could gather--Carter and Aaron are missing
Shanna saw one man with one of these huge pumpkins in a wheelbarrow--his wife was ahead of him looking at other pumpkins. Shanna said something like "that looks like fun" and he said "no--this is crazy, that is what this is!" We all laughed at that--the pumpkins were really reasonably priced, but those would take forever to carve!
We went on the hayride and it was so much fun. We were the only ones in the wagon and the kids had a blast (well, most of them did--Ellie and Aaron weren't totally thrilled by it).
Carter laid down first thing and said "Ahhhhhh....this is the life!"
Caroline had a great time rolling up and down the wagon as it went up and down the hills.
Alex started flailing about in the hay and said "I'm doing the backstroke!"
The kids and I with our pumpkins---we were all wearing long sleeves and we were all dying from the heat! Despite the heat, it was a great time and we will definitely be coming back next year!

Don't you just love Burt's! The children are as cute as pumpkins
We never went to Burt's because it was so far away, but it sure looks like fun!
Thanks for inviting us - it was so fun!
