Last week we went to a little art studio near our house and painted ceramic figures. When we were almost done the lady helping us suggested that Carter and Alex write their name on the bottom to help identify them when we picked them up. I started writing Alex's name on his and Carter told the lady:
"I know how to spell my name." then he paused for a minute and added "I can even spell it with my eyes closed!!"
The lady was very impressed :)
Today after school:
Carter: Mom, can I take ballet lessons?
Me: I guess so, if you want to. (Thinking--where did this come from?)
Carter: You know that taking ballet lessons will make you a better football player? And I want to be a better football player so I want to take ballet.
Me: Maybe you should learn to play football first.
