Our neighborhood Halloween party was on Saturday 10/24. For the party, Caroline dressed as Hermione (from Harry Potter--she just finished reading all 7 books a couple of weeks ago), Carter and Alex were Pokemon trainers.

I love the neighborhood party. They give every kid a number of tickets and then each game requires one ticket. One of the games is always a treasure chest with full size candy bars in it--you have a ring of keys and get three chances to get the right key. Caroline has this figured out and picked the right key the first time, then helped Carter and Alex get the right key their first try as well.
They also had a pumpkin walk this year--all the kids stood on a number, when the music was done they called a winner to take home one of the pumpkins.....

Carter won! The pumpkin was really big and he was so proud of it--though it was heavy to carry home!
After the pumpkin walk we finished playing the games (and getting the prizes).

I really liked this picture of Caroline :)

Wow, Melinda, you must be partied out! I think I would cancel halloween if I had that many parties!
