I have to admit--Fall used to be my favorite season. I love wearing sweaters, Thanksgiving, apples, pumpkin bread and apple cider.I say used to be because that all changed about 6 years ago....a few months after we bought our first house and I started having to rake leaves.
I don't really mind raking leaves--once or twice, but when I spend at least an hour or two a week between October and February I get a little tired of it. I try to do it during the week so it doesn't waste the whole weekend, but that means taking out the kids and trying to get the work done while keeping an eye on them.
Today it was so nice outside that I decided to brave it and let Alex and Aaron come with me.
Alex loved jumping in the leaves, he LOVED jumping in the leaves when the leaf blower was blowing them--at first I tried to blow away from where he was jumping, then I realized he loved the leaves blowing on him. It was so cute that I had to get my camera.
did I mention that I just raked these leaves last week?
I am sad this isn't a little bit better picture--I love how happy he looks here.
Alex wanted to take a picture of Aaron (who spent most of the time taking a nap).Here is a little video--it was so fun.
So while it definitely took me longer to rake the leaves with Alex and Aaron there, it was so much more fun than normal!

wow. I'm thinking you should wait until they all fall off of the trees next time ;)
That is what blowers are for or as we like to do hire a young man from church. It is so worth the money.
