Spring Break in Utah--Day 5 Dinosaurs

Monday we headed over to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. It is the world's largest display of mounted dinosaurs--I wasn't too sure how fun a dinosaur museum would be, but it really was an amazing museum.
Can't go anywhere with Aunt Jennifer without some serious wrestling taking place.
Group picture is better at the beginning--by the end at least half of the kids and most of the adults are too tired to attempt it!
The first area we went to had a bunch of experiments the kids could try--patterns of light, sound, etc.
Then we started with the dinosaurs--they were amazing!  I like this picture of Aaron  with the foot of a dinosaur--so many of the dinosaurs were incredibly big!

They had a huge magnetic board with dinosaur skeleton pieces that you could put together to make your own dinosaur.

Caroline is always by Shanna whenever possible.

Love this cute little boy--really, really sad we don't get to see them as much anymore.
This boy was pretty cute too!  The background is a mural of a dinosaur dig--pretty realistic I thought for a two dimensional picture.
Playing in sand and water---what more could you ask for?

We all liked the shark head--Jennifer told Alex she was going to toss him in

Aaron wanted to look, but he was a little nervous!
I just love this picture--Carter said he wanted a picture of him holding up the whole Earth--it looks pretty heavy!

We all had a great time--and there was a lot we didn't have time for.  We all agreed it would be fun for several more visits.
