Alex is starting to catch up to Carter in the saying funny things department! 

In our family room, the ceiling fan could either have the light on or the fan on but not both on at the same time.  There were also 2 lights in the ceiling next to the fan that I couldn't change the bulbs too (they are too high up to reach and they don't screw out so I can't use the light bulb changer that I use with my other lights).  These 2 lights have been in the house for at least 4 years and they will work some days and not work other days--and there is no telling when they will or won't work.

So yesterday I finally hired an electrician to come out and fix the fan and the lights.  After they left the kids were looking at the new light switch (controls fan and light separately) and the other lights and they fixed an outlet that had pulled out of the box down by the couch.

Alex looked at everything and said "Those electricians really know how to treat people right don't they!"  I guess they do (and for the amount of money they charge it is a good thing!).
