It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This is what Christmas looks like at our house.....

I love our tree--we decorate it in red/green/cream ornaments--handmade/natural looking decorations with an Angel on top. I love the theme, and it is perfect for little kids--not much can be broken!
The kids love the dancing Santa that I got before we were married, and the Rudolph stuffed animals (when you press the ear the nose lights up).

I don't love the nativity, but I haven't found one that I love yet, so for now it stays...
The kids love to play with our little people nativity. Sometimes it is actually played with as a nativity, mostly it is just destroyed by invading Transformers.

My mom made this beautiful Advent calendar for us a few years ago....I used to be very controlling about putting the characters where they should be, but I have let go of that and now we have shepards floating at the top near the angels and stars....but the kids love it!
We also have chocolate advent calendars that the kids love :)

My mom made this wall hanging for me a few years ago as a gift when we were in the primary presidency together....I got the little trees in Asheville, NC when Matt took me there for a surprise anniversary trip 2 years ago.
I just found this guy this morning....how could I resist that face :)

The advent calendar looks so beautiful. Your Mom always does such a great job with that kind of stuff.

Home made ornaments are the best, aren't they?

Your house looks very festive and pretty! I am very impressed that you have it all up with a new born.
