Since our last
snow day was so disappointing, the kids were thrilled to get a really good snow storm.
Of course, it would come in on a day that they were already out of school. It was definitely the best/biggest snowstorm I have seen while living in Georgia. I think the reports were about 3 1/2" of snow--and it was perfect for making snowballs and snowmen and just playing in!
Alex loved making snow angels

More than snow angels, he loved making snowballs. This was taken right after he threw a snowball at Carter--I love the look on his face, like he just got away with something.

Aaron wanted to go outside, but really didn't like it once he was out there--Alex throwing snowballs at him didn't help :)
no--of course I wouldn't take my baby out in the snow with bare feet--it is just bad lightingCaroline with the snowman

The next day the snow was still there (though the snowman wasn't). The kids were kind of sad about it--but I told them what
snowmen do at night (one of my favorite stories ever)--they drink cold chocolate that their moms make, they go sledding and make snow angles, play games, and have snowball fights--by the end of the night they are so tired and worn out from playing that they look slumped over and melted in the morning.
