The first is to install remote entry on my garage. I've wanted to do this for about a year--ever since a friend told me about doing it to their garage. She said she did it and it only took about 15 min. I kept saying we needed to do it, but never tried. So last Saturday I bought the keypad. I knew it would take forever to get installed if I waited for Matt, so Monday I just decided to go for it. Sure enough--it took me about 15 min total and that included moving the car so I could get to the garage door opener to program the keypad, and figuring out how to put the drill bit in Matt's drill. It works great, I've taught the kids how to use it so now they can get in the house if they need to!! I love it.
About a year after it was pulled from the wall we finally patched the hole and spackled it. Up until a couple of days ago that is how it was left--the spackling was not sanded, not painted, and the towel bar was in a drawer. I found the paint in the garage about 6 months ago, but never did anything with it. So last week, I sanded the spackle, painted it and hung the towel bar...
