Today we were in the kitchen getting food ready for our a cookout at Grandma's house. Matt was cutting fruit, I was making potato salad, and Caroline was making her famous cheese ball. Alex and Carter wanted to help too. Matt asked Carter to be his Sous Chef....Carter would take care of the watermelon rinds and Matt would pay him in extra pieces of watermelon to eat. Carter was thrilled with this idea, but kept saying he was daddy's "Shoe" chef. We tried correcting him, but he couldn't remember it from one minute to the next.
Alex wanted to be a shoe chef too (the pronunciation was catching), so Caroline offered to let him help her. She offered to pay him in cream cheese, but they ended up working out a deal for actual money.
After a while, Carter left and Matt tried to steal Alex from Caroline. He offered Alex lots of juicy watermelon, but Alex said he only wanted money.
I saw this shirt and almost bought it
but I think I want it to say "shoe chef"
