Christmas Eve is always reserved for the Urbanawiz side. Everyone gets together and we have a big meal, read the Christmas story and open presents--and spend a lot of time talking, laughing and enjoying the day. This year everyone gathered at our house. Some families came a day or two early and it was so nice to be able to spend extra time with them.
This is William....The person that Carter and Alex both idolize. William is everything that Carter and Alex want to be--good at video games, a pokemon expert, fun, adventurous, etc, etc. It also helps that he is super nice to both of them and plays with both of them equally--he knows how much they adore him and gives them both extra attention....what an amazing kid. If I ever want them to do anything I just have to tell them that William likes to do it and they will do it too.
This is Alyssa...Lexie and Alyssa are the older sisters Caroline never had. She adores both of them and they are so great as well. When all the family is together I never see my kids....they are in heaven.
This year Bella added a lot of fun too--she just turned 1 in mid December and Caroline loved spending her time entertaining her.
A couple of the gifts I made this year--aprons for two of my nieces along with a matching apron for their dolls. Also a fabric snake I made for my nephew (it looks more like a jump rope in the picture).
Grandpa passes out gifts to be opened--this year Aaron was his main helper. Aaron was so cute delivering all the gifts--he took his job very seriously.
A gift for Mom
It was a terrific Christmas Eve. Most everyone left before dinner and we had plenty of time to get ready for Santa--including making our annual Santa treat--chocolate covered pretzels. Alex picked OJ for Santa's drink this year--he thought Santa would like it better than milk (since he does).
