Voice & Piano Recital

Caroline and Carter had their voice and piano recital in December.  Grandma & Grandpa, Lisa, Shanna & Kydon and kids all came to the recital.  When we were seated waiting for the recital to start, Aaron kept saying that the piano at the front of the room was a "choo choo".  We all laughed a little at it.  Aidan turned to Shanna part way through the recital and said that it really does look kind of like a choo choo :) 

Carter has just started voice lessons, so he just performed on piano. Carter takes his piano very seriously--his piano teacher spent a good 6 months trying to get him to smile during his lessons.  He really likes to play really enjoys the voice lessons now--it is fun to see him improve.

Caroline played a song on the piano then sang "Happy Girl"

She did an amazing job on her song--her voice has improved dramatically over the last year.  Some other friends who were at the recital mentioned the same thing.  She did a great job at the piano and singing.
