Christmas Morning

 

I love Christmas Morning.

 

I love it as much as a mom as I did as a kid (though I do sleep a little bit better now).

I had hopes to sleep in a little, but Caroline set her alarm for 5:30...by 6:00 she was in our room and by 6:15 she had woken up everyone else...despite our best efforts to the contrary!

First the kids opened their stockings....candy, toys and fun!

Santa must have known there was some cold weather ahead and gave everyone hats and gloves!

Then came opening the gifts.  Christmas Eve Aaron had been great about giving out the gifts...today he wanted to open everything--he wasn't into the idea of something not being for him.

Alex got a dog that sings "Who let the dogs out" and dances--so funny and Alex and Aaron love dancing with it--I'll post those videos later.

It was a great morning--we didn't have anything to do until 1 so we had plenty of time to relax and play with all the fun things we got.
