Ever since Aaron had to miss the 4th of July Braves baseball game because he was sick, he has been begging to go to another Braves game. With the season about to end, we were able to find one last day to go see the ballgame. We had quite a crowd--Grandma and Grandpa, our family, Kydon and his kids, Adam and Ellie, and the Johnsons. The game just so happened to be the game honoring Chipper Jones retiring from baseball. It was sad because I remembered clearly when Chipper started with the Braves as a rookie! I felt a little old!
We had to make the required trip to Sky Field! It was more packed then I have ever seen it!
Running the bases
Aaron and Alex in our seats--they were so excited to be there! Aaron wore the shirt he wanted to wear on the 4th of July and Alex was very excited that he had a Chipper Jones shirt to wear (lucky coincidence--it was a hand me down from another family!)
Sitting at the end of our row were two college aged guys that wore rodent masks...They were pretty funny trying to get on the big screen--but they never made it! We had a great time watching them though.
