Alex has been waiting SO long to lose a tooth--waiting all through Kindergarten when everyone else was losing teeth was hard, but finally, on September 7th he lost his tooth! The tooth fairy was surprisingly prompt and left him $2 in trade. I asked him what the best thing was about losing a tooth and he said that now he could eat apples again!

Eating apples is very important :D
If you knew how many apples Alex eats a day you would know how important it is to him (I only know by the number of apple cores I find hidden around the house!)
