Reflections 2012-2013 The Magic of a Moment

Caroline, Carter, and Alex entered the PTA Reflections contest again this year.  They each entered in photography and film.

Carter's film entry was a stop motion photography film using lego guys and a lego backdrop.  It was called "Ninja Battle".  Alex's film also used stop motion photography and was taken of Caroline and Aaron doing cartwheels/summersaults on the lawn.  It was titled "The Crasiest Place" (spelling mistake intentional!).  Caroline's film was done of Roxie debating if she should go down the slide or not.

Their entries all won at the school level.  Caroline had  2 of her 3 entries go on to council (each school is allowed 2 entries per grade per category--the judge picked 2 of her entries out of the 5 photography entries submitted).  The 2 that went were Touching Hands and Chilln' at the Pool.  All of their film entries and Carter and Alex's photography entries also won at school and went on to council competition.

At council there are 26 elementary schools and 13 middle schools.  Carter and Alex both won first place for their film entries and Caroline won first place for her "Touching Hands" photography entry.  Those three entries have moved on to state competition and we will find out in February if they won there.
