Caroline had joined a running club at school called "Go Gals". As their final fall activity, they decided to participate in a 5K. Caroline and I ran the 5K and we signed the boys up for the kids fun run. Luckily Matt was going to be in town and could supervise the boys while Caroline and I ran.
It was a beautiful day--but pretty windy and cold!

Caroline and I approaching the finish line. Between the end of the 5K and the start of the fun run, they served pancakes and bacon and sausage for all the participants. It was a little cold to be eating outside, but fun anyway!

Alex and Aaron's race
Alex led the pack most of the way around the track.
Aaron was hilarious! Every time he would pass someone he would yell out "Ha Ha Sucker!" Didn't know my 3 year old was such a good trash talker!

Carter's Race
Carter's heat was very competitive--but Carter ran an amazing race! He was out first from the starting line.
And he was in the top 3 until just before the end. Then he just started walking and a bunch of people passed him...guess we have to work on the finish strong speech!
The boys all got medals--Caroline and I were a little jealous!
