Thanksgiving "Feast"

Every year the school sponsors a "Thanksgiving Feast".  All parents are invited and you get to eat lunch with your child while the cafeteria provides a thanksgiving type meal--turkey, stuffing, green beans, roll, mashed potatoes and gravy and apple crisp for dessert.  I have to admit that the only thing this feast makes me thankful for is that my Thanksgiving dinner won't taste anything like theirs!  I do love eating with the kids and their friends and I love it when the younger grades to a performance afterwards!  Carter and Alex's feast were on the same day this year, and only about 45 min apart which was just enough time to go to Alex's program and then come back for Carter.  Aaron and I had a fun time.

Alex's class program--Aaron was reading Alex's book and Alex looked more interested in the book than the program!
Alex and his teacher Mrs. Henderson.  I have to say that she is one of my favorite teachers ever!  She is so perfect for him, and, especially after last year, he deserves a really fabulous teacher!  She told me that teachers can't have favorites, but if she could, Alex would be hers!  He has so much fun in her class and just loves school this year.

Carter and his teacher, Mrs. Justice.  I love her too--Carter had a rough year last year and I was really worried about this year (I loved his teacher, he just had a rough time).  Mrs. Justice has been exactly what he needed!  He has done so well this year and loves her class.  The class has 16 boys and 6 girls!  What a fun class for him to be in (I do feel sorry for the 6 girls and for Mrs. Justice, but love it for Carter!).
