It had been a while since we thoroughly cleaned out Caroline's closet. And when I had tried to do it, there were too many things she wanted to keep. Finally we were both ready to clean things out and I couldn't let the opportunity pass.
We went through her whole closet and ruthlessly got rid of things that didn't fit or she didn't want to wear. Including things like the Dora nightgown I got her when she was 3, Kim Possible and Cinderella pajamas she wore when she was 5, shirts and pants that were 2 sizes smaller than what she was wearing.

This is what her closet looked like afterwards. I should have taken a before picture--the hanging area was so stuffed with clothes you couldn't get any new ones in and the shelves were filled with clothes--it was a mess!
