BYU vs Washington: First round of NIT

We were so excited when we found out that BYU was going to play Washington at home in the NIT--and the game was on Tuesday night.  We were even more thrilled when we got tickets for the entire family (and the fees) for $69!  Earlier in the day we all headed to BYU and spent way more money than we should have on t-shirts and chocolate covered cinnamon bears and other things you can only buy at the bookstore!

My parents and Grandpa Olsen went with Kelly and Arlene to the game and used extra tickets that they had.
Aaron and I walked over at halftime and met Grandpa and took a quick picture...well, we would have been quick but as Grandpa was putting Aaron down, Aaron kicked his drink and it spilled everywhere.  Ooops!  Luckily dad had paid a little extra and got the "free refill" option!  My dad said they were still mopping the floor up until the last few minutes of the game!  Sorry!!
The kids loved the snack options that BYU had (better than I remember when Matt was in law school)!  The favorite for everyone was the Cougar Tail--a maple glazed long john--that is about 6 times the size of a regular long john!  At only $4 it wasn't a bad deal!  The kids also liked the popcorn.
The people in front of us had a 3 year old boy who Aaron played with for the first half of the game--they played hide and go seek (each would hide under their chair and the other would try to find them) and talked and laughed.  Like most relationships, the fun wore off quickly and the little boy made annoying sounds the entire second half, which made Aaron mad and he yelled at him over and over!

The game was even better when BYU beat Washington 90-79!
