Wednesday we said goodbye to Matt and my mom and headed off to BYU with the Lichfields before I cried too much! Staying longer than Matt seemed like a good idea until it was time for him to leave!
At BYU we had planned on going to the Bean Museum. We parked, hauled seven kids up to the top of campus where the Bean museum was and discovered that it was closed. So we walked back across campus and decided to cause chaos in the Eyring Science Center and play with all of their experiments.
We took a brief photoshoot at the family statues near the bookstore on our way to the bowling alley.
I love Carter and Alex turning the parents into zombies!
Bowling was super fun--for about 3 frames, then there were substitutions on behalf of the kids for another 3 frames. Aaron and Ellie each had a "light" ball, but they refused to just leave it to chance as to which ball they would use. They each stood guard by their ball the entire game and there was no chance anyone but them would use their ball. By the end of the 6th frame nobody wanted to keep bowling except Caroline--so we decided to head to the creamery for some ice cream!
Walking back to the car after the creamery I caught this shot--these two are such good friends. Aaron tells me that he is going to marry Ellie because they are best friends and when they get old the can marry and live in the same house and be best friends.
