Disney World Day 3--break day

It was great timing for a break day--our feet were all a little sore from all the walking on Saturday, so it was nice to have a chance to rest.

We decided last minute (9:30 the night before) to try and get a reservation for the Whispering Canyon Cafe for breakfast. The kids really wanted to go there and we didn't have it planned until Thursday evening. So we made the reservation for 8am.

At 7:50, as we were leaving the room, Shanna and the kids came over and we told them where we were going and they decided to join us--so our party of 5 turned into a party of 10.

We got a fabulous waitress--Sue (forgot the first part of her name). Shanna ordered Kydon a diet coke and when the waitress brought it out she had everyone in the restaurant point their fingers at my Kydon and tell him that Diet Coke was not a breakfast drink and he needed to set a better example for his kids. It was a great time, and the food was good too.

After breakfast we went swimming, ate lunch at roaring forks and did "Magic Cookie Hour". Magic Cookie hour was the kids most requested activity. Who knew that with all the money we were spending at WDW, their favorite thing would be getting a sugar cookie, a bit of frosting, and some sprinkles and a certificate stating they had a magical moment!

After magic cookie hour, Grandpa and Russ came and picked us up and we went to their house in Windsor Hills. We had a nice dinner and played a game of Disney Scene It. The teams were Grandma and Grandpa and the kids vs the rest of the adults. Who knew that Matt would know almost every answer?? It had been raining since about 10:30 and was getting worse as the evening progressed so we went back to the hotel and went to bed early--hoping for better weather tomorrow
