Vacation--Day Two Dinosaur Land

We slept in a little bit since we had stopped so late (and had to wake the kids up at midnight and then get them back to sleep again).

I had heard about a place called Dinosaur Land from a friend that drives up to New York every summer to visit her family. It was only a few minutes out of the way and very close to where we stopped so we decided to go.

The kids LOVED it (and the gift shop--of course).....but they are easily impressed. It was a good chance for them to run around and where else can you see huge dinosaurs with blood coming out of their mouths and snakes poised for attack? I mean really--where????
"It doesn't really fit into Dinosaur Land...but hey let's throw in Godzilla while we are at it"
Don't be mistaken--they were vicious (this one stole Carter's sunglasses!)
At the end they had little books that showed all of the dinosaurs for 25 cents (probably printed in the very early 1970s) so the kids each got a book "so we can always remember dinosaur land"
