Baby contest!

I had my last ultrasound yesterday!! I've decided that, like most things, ultrasounds are exciting when you only get a few--every week ultrasounds (plus weekly visits to the OB) has made me much less excited about them! I have enough pictures to fill a baby book--2D and 4D and they all look about the same. Although I have to say that the 2D just look terrible to me now that I have so many of the 4D!

At yesterday's ultrasound they did measurements. They estimate that Baby's weight is between 9-9.5 lbs as of yesterday (this is on target with what percentile he has been measuring in since 20 weeks).

So my contest is to see who can guess Baby's actual birth weight.... the closest one will get a prize (it may be a couple of weeks because I won't be out and about too much right away!)

A few facts to consider when making your guess:

• Ultrasounds can be off +/- 1 lb, but this was a high level ultrasound done at a perinatologist's office.
• Babies generally gain 1 lb per week in the last few weeks of pregnancy (according to pregnancy timetables)
• I am scheduled to be induced next Wednesday, December 3rd. I will be 39 weeks on that day.
  
• Caroline's birth weight was 7lbs 4oz (41 weeks), Carter was 9lbs 13oz (39 weeks). Alex was 8lbs 10oz (39 weeks)

The contest ends either next Wednesday morning at 6am or when I go into labor--whichever comes first!
