The Dentist

Well, not all of our experiences with the dentist have been good, but this one was fun. The kids' dentist came and did a demonstration at our favorite toy store (yes, we have been there a lot lately!).

I took Alex on Friday for the little kids session. He was selected to be the dentist. He got a little nervous but lasted through everything, until they tried to put on the gloves. That was too much and off came the dentist outfit!
The older kids went a couple of days later. Alex came with us and it turned out that we were the only ones to show up! The earlier one for little kids was packed with over 30 kids in the room. Since there wasn't much competition, the kids got to do everything :) Although I think the presenters were a little disappointed because we were already patients!

At the end, our kids (shockingly) won all the prizes! They each got a bag of items from the dentist (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, etc), a battery powered toothbrush, and Alex got a little stuffed kung-fu panda animal :)
