Last night I was driving home from picking the boys up from Russ and Catherine's house (they were babysitting Carter and Alex while the rest of us were at Caroline's swim meet). As we were driving home Aaron was crying--it was late, he was tired and hungry and needed to get to bed. Alex HATES to hear Aaron cry and usually sings him a song (row row your boat). He kept trying to sing it, but Aaron wasn't deterred from his crying. Alex kept telling me that it wasn't working and I would tell him that Aaron was just tired and we would be home soon and I would feed him and put him to bed.
At one point I heard Alex singing and it sounded a lot like "rock you, rock you, we will rock you"....I asked him where he learned that song and he said Caroline had taught him. It was so funny to hear him sing it that I talked him and Caroline into giving me the full version this morning
Seeing this made me think 2 things...
- They are so much alike (Carter had no interest in being in the show and there was nothing that would keep Caroline and Alex out of the limelight)
- There are a lot of things that go on in my house that I have no idea about.....

I see a band in the future! Now all Alex needs is Caroline to give him some fashion tips and he will be right there!
