Aaron's first birthday party

We celebrated Aaron's first birthday a little early. My Grandma was visiting from Utah and with travel for Thanksgiving we decided to have everyone over for Sunday dinner.

Since Aaron had no opinion about what cake he got, I had fun choosing

He didn't really seem to like the cake--

but that might have had something to do with it being almost bedtime.....or the 30+ kids yelling at him to eat his cake so they could have some cake and ice cream.....

He really didn't like the ice cream

did you notice his poor little nose? He fell the night before and cut it--he was on Alex's bed (which is basically on the floor) and fell onto carpet, but he still managed to cut his nose just in time for a lot of pictures!

He had fun opening presents and trying to eat the ribbon, but I think he was happiest when everyone left and he got to go to bed!
