Jolly Old St. Nicholas, lean your ear this way--don't you tell a single soul what I'm going to say...

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs--I remember singing it in school and have loved it ever since. Unfortunately, my kids have never really been fans of Santa and none of them would willingly sit on his lap until about 6 years old.

At the Olsen Christmas Party, Santa came to visit. Santa, if you didn't already know this, is hilarious! He answered all the kids questions and kept the adults laughing so much that we could barely catch our breath. Did you know that Santa only takes the sleigh out on Christmas Eve? The rest of the time the elves get out the snowmobile that goes super fast and it is really hard to see unless you watch really closely (the kids tried and tried, but they couldn't ever see it).

Caroline was happy to sit on Santa's lap, but didn't have anything to ask for:

Carter took the honest approach--when Santa asked what he had been up to he said "sometimes, trouble".

Alex and Aaron didn't really want to even see Santa, though Alex looked at him long enough to ask for his "batman house" that he was wanting so badly.
