Happy Birthday Alex (last month)

You know you are behind on the birthday post when the birthday boy has already stopped referring to himself as 4 and moved to 4 1/2 (ok--he is a little early and I'm a little late).

Alex's birthday was a day packed with parties and presents.  First we did heavy heavy hangover to open the gifts (the person giving the gift says "heavy heavy hangover thy poor head.  What do you wish with a bump on your head"--then the person getting the gift has to give them a wish--"I wish you xxxx").  Alex mostly wished everyone pokemon figures :)

After the presents we got ready for his party--it was a Dinosaur Train party.

Lots of little dinosaurs came to visit.  We played a bunch of games--Dinosaur says, Pteranodon, Pteranodon, T-Rex.  and Hot Dinosaur.

The food was great (and I love these pictures that Caroline took!)

Alex wanted a volcano on his cake--

All the kids loved the volcano--everyone wanted a piece of it (I think they thought there was something cool inside it--not just plain chocolate cake)

After the party we opened presents--he was so excited to have his presents bury him!
