A new cousin

The kids were so excited to hear that a new cousin was born.  Gavin Lichfield was born on March 23rd and joined Lisa and Adam and Ellie's family.  I got to see the cutie at the hospital, but the kids weren't allowed to go in so we stopped by on the way to church a few days after they came home.  

Caroline is so great with babies--it almost makes me want to have another baby thinking about how helpful she is (just kidding--about the wanting another one)

When we first put Gavin with Carter and Alex he started spitting up--this was their reaction to Lisa cleaning it up--that was just a little spit up--it has obviously been too long since they have been around a baby!

After seeing Gavin Aaron has discovered babies.  He points out all the babies in the store and wants me to draw pictures of him holding a baby.

When Lisa was in the hospital having Gavin, they hadn't decided on a name.  Alex and I were talking about what they should name their baby and Alex suggested "Morgan Belly Lichfield'  (he calls Ellie "Ellie Belly").  I pointed out to him that Morgan (Ellie's middle name) Belly doesn't rhyme and he said "Mom--names don't have to rhyme"....of course, what was I thinking.
