Summer Bucket List: Big Trees Hike

 We have been taking family hikes at Big Trees Nature Preserve since Caroline was a baby.  It is very close, has lots of fun trails, is beautiful, and short enough that the kids can all hike it, mostly.

 Did I mention it was beautiful there?  We had family pictures taken here in 2009 and I love them!

Matt brought a fanny pack to carry some water bottles in--everyone wanted to be the one to wear it! 

Roxie loved it too!

 When we got back to the parking lot there was a community car seat safety "fair" going on with a fire truck there.  Aaron wanted to sit in the fire truck and the firemen were nice enough to let him.
