Even though there is an aquarium about 30 minutes from our house, and it is pretty amazing, the Tennessee Aquarium is our favorite (and much more affordable!) We bought an annual pass this year for just over half of what it would be for our family to go once to the Georgia Aquarium.
This trip we went with Lisa and her kids--all 8 of us can fit in one car, which makes the drive so much easier!
Caroline took most of the pictures that I'm using--she is looking to use one of them for reflections this year. She really is getting to be quite an excellent photographer!

One of the parts we love most is the Butterfly House
Caroline has always been fascinated with the octopus--even when she was really little!
The kids got stuck in one of the tanks--luckily we got them out :) Caroline came up with the idea to take the pictures sitting in these areas and making it look like it was in the tank.
After the aquarium we changed into swim suits and returned to the part of the aquarium that everyone loves the most....
A huge area of fountains to play in!
After a long hot day we stopped and got some ice cream/popsicles and changed clothes and made the drive home....it was so much fun!
