Addiction

I think I am ready to come out and admit it--I am addicted to the internet/email. Here is a little story that proves just how bad it has gotten.

1st: The laptop lcd broke. Luckily it is still under warranty (ok...this story will be my next post--it is a great story). We are waiting to send it back in.

2nd: This morning the usb network adapter on our desktop dies--somewhat relating to #1 just in our bad luck with computers.

This leaves us with a laptop that can access the internet, but no screen, and a desktop that can print and has a monitor, but no access to the internet.

Solution: I have the laptop hooked up to the desktop monitor--when I need to print I save the file to a usb drive then switch the monitor to the desktop and then open the file and print....

Yet I am thrilled that I can still check my email! (at least until tomorrow when I can go and buy a new usb adapter)
