Carter always says the funniest things--you have to be listening to him, or they just slip by, but he is hilarious.
Today I asked him to wash his face (a couple of times) just now I asked him if he washed it and this is what he said
Carter: "Yep, clean as a rock.....oh, dirty as a rock, rocks are dirty--clean is for turtles. I'm clean as a turtle".
A few weeks ago I had taken a quilt class and I showed Carter the blocks I did he said:
Carter: "Much better"
Me: "better than what?"
Carter: "Better than nothing!"

I loved reading your vacation posts! Good job- I know it was a lot of work. I wish my house was clean as a turtle. I would even take as clean as a dirty rock. We are somewhere below rock status right now.... :)
I am making no comments on the state of my house....just Carter's face (and that changes momentarily too!)
Carter cracks me up! I also liked reading your vacation posts - I am impressed with your detail. That's awesome, because it will help you remember it later on.
