Halloween Party at Daddy's Work

Today we went to a little Halloween party at Matt's work. There were three floors in his building that were having trick-or-treating. It was a little funny to walk into a very upscale building in Midtown Atlanta with 3 kids dressed like a cowboy, bumblebee the transformer, and a pilgrim....a few people in the lobby did double takes, but we had a great time!

Those participating in the trick or treating decorated their offices a little and had candy for the kids. It was fun to meet Matt's co-workers and the kids had a great time. Alex was sure to tell everyone that he was a "Yee-haw", Carter was excited when he saw "his leader" Optimus Prime, and Caroline was thrilled that she was the only pilgrim of the night.

The attorneys and staff were all super nice to the kids and went out of their way to talk to the kids and make it a great time. One attorney told the kids that to make their candy bars really good they needed to hold the candy bar in their hand for a few minutes--then eat it, that way it would be really really good!

Three floors of trick-or-treating filled their bags with candy and snacks, but the fun wasn't over yet.....there was a conference room filled with cupcakes, juice boxes, and cookies. Just what we needed!

The entire way home the kids talked about how much fun it was and how they loved daddy's work (they might be disappointed to learn that there wasn't candy like that every day!)

What cute kids -- I recognized the pilgrim and the cowboy, but who was the person in the middle? They look great!
