Second--the pantry! Thanks to Shanna generously watching my kids yesterday afternoon, I was able to go grocery shopping to begin restocking my pantry after the moth disaster. It has been about 10 days with no grains (we did buy some bread to keep in the fridge to use for school lunches)---and I am very happy to have food again! In the last 10 days I cleaned the pantry with bleach--covering every possible surface with a lot of bleach and scrubbing. Once that was done I decided to repaint the pantry--it needed to be done before we moved in, but I ran out of time, so this was a good opportunity. We then waited for the fumes to die down and now we are back to having food in the pantry and not having to search through cans on the dining room table.
Here is a look at the new pantry--lots of ziploc freezer bags for the grains. I love the storage containers that I bought--and now I want to buy more to store all the things I forgot I needed them for....but we are doing good for now. There are still a few things left in boxes (I over estimated how much cereal the containers could hold), and the cake mixes are left--but once the cereal is opened it will be put in an air tight container, and the cake mixes will be used immediately once they are opened.

Wow, what a nice neat pantry! I am jealous.
I am jealous! My pantry is 1/3 the size.
So glad to hear that your baby is healthy. Your pantry looks so nice and clean, I should probably go and clean mine:-)
Oh the pantry looks great! I'm still sorry you had to go through all of that.
PS I'm tagging you on my blog :)
