At the pool

We spent a lot of time at the pool this summer. Between swim team, swim lessons, and just playing we had a lot of time in the water. We usually had friends join us--which made the pool that much more fun.

Alyssa and Lexie spent a week at our house. One of the days they were here we spent at the pool. The Shanna and her kids came and joined us.
Our usual spot for resting was in a shaded area near the tennis courts--shade overhead and the steps into the pool nearby....all the requirements for swimming with little kids.

Alex's favorite activity was to raid the lost and found closet and find random toys to play with while we were there. He didn't really care for all the toys I lugged over there brought to the pool.
Grandma hadn't left yet after dropping the girls off, so she came too. She took Aaron most of the time which let me play a little more with Alex--it was so nice! I love this picture.
With summer ending, I am really going to miss all of our time at the pool.
