First Day of School--Report

The day flew by and before I knew it the bus had come. After they came in we had cookie ice cream sandwiches to celebrate
I then got the report of how their first day went:

Caroline:
  • Her teacher was very very nice.
  • Her teacher only has one rule "Don't do something that will hurt someone else".
  • She already got a book to take home.
  • There are lots of friends in her class.
  • Lunch was good.
  • She had a great day.
  • "Only 179 more days left until Summer Vacation!"
Carter:
  • His teacher and assistant teacher were very nice.
  • He met a boy he wants to invite to his birthday party.
  • His teacher only yells if someone starts bleeding (??)
  • She didn't yell today.
  • He liked lunch in the cafeteria--he had strawberry milk.
  • Recess was really hot.
  • He got to lay down and take a nap on a mat (the mat now has his germs all over it)
  • He tried to sleep, but it was still light outside so he couldn't.
  • The best part of the day........riding the school bus with no seat belt!
They were both happy to be home, and happy to be going back tomorrow (I offered to let them stay home with me if they wanted to). Alex and Aaron were so happy to have them home.

And if any of you are wondering about Alex's marker incident--the marker is still on his skin--despite a lot of wipes, soap and anything else I could think of. But his shirt is clean--not even a hint of marker anywhere on the white shirt! I am amazed once again at what Oxyclean can do!
