The thing I hate most about Halloween is carving pumpkins. Often this means that our pumpkins never turn into jack-o-lanterns and we keep them on as Thanksgiving decorations. This year, however, the kids really wanted to carve their pumpkins. Matt was out of town, so I decided to enlist the next best thing--Grandpa! I was telling Lisa my plan and she had the same plan so we decided to combine for a massive pumpkin carving party.
The kids loved it, and all the pumpkins got carved...and I am so happy to live close to my parents and happy they are so nice and willing to spend their afternoon helping us with a pretty massive job!
