Grateful for what you have

It seems you can never remember to be grateful for what you have, until you don't have it anymore (and no, this time i'm not referring to my sanity--I have long since given up ever getting that back).....

Sunday our Air Conditioning went out--yes, fabulous for Georgia in the summer. Luckily it is only the upstairs (we have 3 separate units--love that), but unluckily our windows are wood and have long since swollen shut and we cannot open them to get some relief. It is fine during the day--but at night we are all miserable! We all camped out in the family room one night--but Matt and I both decided we were better off being hot than doing that every night!

Today the beloved A/C repairman showed up to fix it.....only to say the blower motor died and they have to order a new one :( It will probably be next week before it is fixed.

So, to all of you sleeping in your cool houses--be grateful now so you don't have to lose it!

I'm sorry to even mention, our HEATER is actually still running. Tihs morning at 9 AM it was a whopping 38 degrees...

Do you think we could even it out a little bit???

I would gladly send you 25 degrees from my house! Especially since I just got our electric bill!
