The first one is a picture of Alex that Matt took on Saturday. He isn't really sure how this picture turned out the way it did, but it really fits how Alex seems--running so fast that everything around him is a blur (you can also substitute "getting in trouble" for the running in the previous sentance). We both love this picture.

Running & Turtles
These two things don't really fit together, but they don't really need their own posts...so here they are.

We both love this picture.
A few days ago the kids were playing outside when Carter came running in to tell me to get the camera because "there is a turtle in our own back yard!!!!!!!" I went out expecting to see a regular turtle, when I was surprised by this little guy
he was super tiny and very cute (and very scared I might add). After we took a few pictures I made the kids go inside so he could relax a little. He stayed in our yard a few days then his mommy came back and got him and took him home (the kids were very worried about a baby turtle in our yard with no mommy--so when he was gone they figured his mommy had found him).
