Chattanooga

Chattanooga is one of our favorite places to visit for a long weekend or just a day trip.  On President's day we headed down with Lisa and her two kids to the Children's museum.  The Children's museum in Chattanooga is one of the best I have ever been to--we all had a great time there.

The river area is great--Matt and Carter and Caroline spent a while making canals for the water and boats to pass through.

Carter found out he had a skeleton in the closet.

 

Aaron and Ellie are such good friends--they play so great together.

Aaron put on a puppet show for me

Aaron and Ellie loved playing in the car.  Whoever was sitting in the back had to hold the groceries.  At one point Aaron picked up something from the basket and pretended to eat it.  Ellie told him "You can't eat until we get there--just wait one minute and we will have something to eat"

The boys love digging for dinosaur bones

I love the outdoor playground--full of simple machines (levers, pulleys, etc)

We also had a battle that reminded me of wizard chess from Harry Potter books

We took a break and read for a while

Afterwards we ate a very late lunch at Five Guys burgers and headed home.
