Monkey Cake

I mentioned earlier about a monkey cake that I made for Lisa & Adam's wedding (Adam's groom cake). I've had several people ask me about it so I finally found a picture and uploaded it so I can show everyone. I have to admit that this is one of my favorite cakes I've ever made (ranking right there with the pirate ship from Carter's 4th birthday).

It was made from a winnie the pooh shaped cake pan--then modified a little to make it a monkey. I also really liked all the banana runts around the bottom cake--luckily we were using some runts for candy for the reception and it was easy to sort out all of the banana ones for me to use!
