Swim Meet 6/17

Does it feel like the only thing I did in June was go to swim meets? Because it felt like that to me!  Swim team practices started 2 weeks before school got out (May 12th or so) and happened 5 days a week until the 25th of June.  Carter and Caroline both had different practices, luckily they were back to back, but it was a lot of time at the pool.

One tradition at the swim meet is for kids to write on their backs/arms with sharpie "Eat my bubbles" and other trash talk for the other team :) Caroline took this opportunity to decorate Carter's back---later I found out instead of sharpies (that wash off fairly easily) she just used permanent markers...those don't wash off so quickly.

Once again Carter was asked to fill in for a relay for the 7/8 boys team--I guess that is the benefit of having to wait for your sister to finish.  Carter swam the freestyle relay with 3 other 7/8 boys and they did really well.
