Swim meet 6/3--Pinewalk

Another swim meet--this was a long one.  It was an away meet and we had to arrive by 4:45.  Caroline swam in her last event at 9:10.  It was nice hiring babysitters for Aaron and Alex so I didn't have to watch them during the meets (and they had much more fun at home), but it cost me a fortune!  This team only had 4 lanes in their pool, so we had tons of heats for each event--to get all the swimmers through.  I was talking to someone about swim team today, and while I hate how much of my time it takes up (mid May-end of June), it does so much good for the kids that I try not to complain complain too loudly.

Carter and Caroline usually swam right after each other (he is in 6 and under she was in 7/8 and girls swam and then boys). Every once in a while they would be in the same lane.

notice how dark it is by the end of the meet?  And this was till about 7 events before the meet was finished.
