Alyssa's Graduation

I first met Alyssa when she was about this age (less about 8 months),
Today she graduated from High School--she is such an amazing person--beautiful, fun, thoughtful--and is super kind to younger nieces who want to do everything with her (not that we would have any experience with that).
We drove to Augusta to visit and see Alyssa Graduate.  The boys were incredibly bored only mildly interested in the graduation.

Alyssa sang in a small group that performed at the graduation.  The speakers were mostly interesting, although I must admit that the valedictorian gave a most "interesting" speech.  I mostly remember her saying things like "if you want to cure cancer, don't spread the disease, if you want to solve our foreign relations problems, don't cause the next world war"  among other things.  I do have to admit that after the first couple of minutes I listened closer to her speech than I did to the others.

The kids each wanted to wear part of her graduation ensemble!  Luckily she had enough to share.
